It's "spring cleaning" time in my apartment. My one roomate is out of the apartment now, but she left it in a HUGE mess and it still smells. Callie and I were able to move back in our apartment Saturday and we've been trying to clean up the mess when we've had time. It still smells pretty bad though and we're trying to get rid of it. Some of the smell doesn't want to leave though so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for getting strong smells out?

There is this stuff at Wal*Mart that you can dump on the carpet. It's like a powder, and then you just vacuum it up. That helps a lot.

Lara - I would think that too. But I'm talking about the smell from her "hobbies" haha. Cleaning supplies & scentsies don't seem to be cutting it... :(
there is stuff that is called Oxy clean for like odors (its a spray) that works really well. You could just spray the heck out of your apartment and the carpet and close the door and let it work for awhile
